Super Bowl LVIII Betting Update

Super Bowl LVIII is set with the 49ers taking on the Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium in as Vegas, NV. Until then, both teams get a by week which means no football this weekend. However, it does not mean that it will be an uneventful football week. In this Super Bowl LVIII Betting Update, I will go over the latest injury news, and an early Super Bowl LVIII Betting Pick.

Super Bowl LVIII Injury Report

Kansas City Chiefs Injury Update - According to a Sportsbook Pay Per Head Update, on Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs put out an injury report. In that report, we saw 4 players listed as non-participants in practice. They are Defensive tackle Chris Jones, running back Isiah Pacheco, defensive lineman Charles Omenihu and left guard Joe Thuney.

As far as we know, lineman Charles Omenihu will not be able to play in the Super bowl. Initially, Omenihu was optimistic about being able to play. However, an MRI taken last Monday, showed a definite torn ACL.

In addition, head Coach Andy Reid said that Joe Thuney is making progress and should not yet be counted of the Super Bowl. At the moment, Kansas City has 13 players on the injury list.

San Francisco 49ers Injury Update – The 49ers on the other hand are not doing as bad as the Chiefs in term of injuries. So far, their list has 6 players on it with Kalia Davis on the injury reserve list. On Wednesday, 2 of the 49ers' key offensive players, George Kittle and Trent Williams, were put on the injury list.

According to Bookie Pay Per Head reviews, Kittle is dealing with a toe injury. On the other hand, Williams' DNP is listed simply as scheduled rest.

Early Super Bowl LVIII Betting Pick and Prediction

Bet on the San Francisco 49ers at -2

I am a bit reluctant about putting this up but as along as the spread doesn’t change, this is a good football bet. This is because with DE Charles Omenihu suffered a torn ACL and out of the Super Bowl. Thus, the Chiefs strong defense will not be as strong.

Packers vs Giants NFL Betting Pick and Prediction for 12/11/2023

For tonight’s NFL Monday Night football betting pick, we have an exciting game taking place at the MetLife Stadium. In this NFL matchup the Green Bay Packers are heading to New York to take on the New York Giants. Will the Giants beat the odds and prevail over the Packers? Find out with my Packers vs Giants NFL Betting Pick and Prediction.

According to sportsbook pay per head companies, the Packers are the favorite team with a -265 moneyline. However, the sportsbooks are expecting the Packers to win by at least a touchdown with a -6 pointspread. On the other hand, with such an expensive money line, it might just be worth taking a chance on the Giants at a +215 moneyline.

According to the latest sports betting news, the Packer currently rank 3 in the NFC North with a 6-6 record. This is thanks to a 3- game winning streak and are looking to extend it to a 4-game winning streak. In their last game, they had an impressive 27-19 home victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. During the game, Jordan Love, the Green Bay QB looked good completing 25 of 36 passes for 267 yards and 3 touchdowns.

On the other hand, the Giants will be playing fresh after having a week off. During their last game, they had a 10-7 victory over the Patriots. However, they will be playing this against the Packers without Daniel Jones, their starting QB.

Bet on the New York Giants at +6

I expect Jaire Alexander to remain out of the game from hi shoulder injury. While New York has a decent defense, their offense is lacking with rookie Tommy DeVito. Therefore, the Packers will take the win but they will not cover the spread with a20-17 final score.

Best NFL wagers for Week 2

Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season was definitively in favor of the sportsbooks as they made a killing. However, no need to give up on football betting this season as this is just the beginning. Unless you plan on becoming a bookie, keep reading as I am going to give you the best wagers to make for week 2 of the 2021 season!

After getting some fresh NFL data from the results of Week 1 here is what we can predict. First off, looking at the sports betting odds, we are able to pinpoint which teams are undervalued. This is an essential part of my plan to profit during week 2. Of course, it is still early in the season, but it is helping me shape my betting strategies.

Chiefs (-3.5) at Ravens

The Chiefs and Ravens both hit speed bumps in their season openers, but only the Chiefs emerged with a win. Patrick Mahomes helped the Chiefs overcome a 12-point deficit during a second-half rally against the Browns. Meanwhile, the Ravens blew a 14-point lead against the Raiders. It marked the primary time that they had lost a game during which they had a 14-point lead since 2014.

The Ravens also are banged up withinside the secondary, and could not preserve up overdue towards the Raiders. If Jimmy Smith cannot play, that would make Patrick Mahomes' process a piece easier. Even if he does play, Marcus Peters' absence will maintain to loom massive and Mahomes ought to be capable of choose aside the Ravens' defense.

According to Sportsbook Pay Per Head, the traits say that having a bet at the Chiefs is a superb cost at -3.5, so we're going to be trusting them even in a hard Baltimore environment.

Broncos (-6) at Jaguars

A week after underdogs went 12-4, our exceptional bets for the week are 3 favorites. Go figure, however hopefully, the precept of "regression to the mean" comes into play here.

Jacksonville is a dumpster hearthplace proper now, to position it kindly. Urban Meyer's time in Jacksonville is already off to a rocky start, and his crew simply misplaced to the Texans through sixteen in spite of being preferred through 3 factors.

The Broncos simply manhandled the Giants and allowed handiest seven factors earlier than a last-2nd TD scramble through Daniel Jones reduce the result in 14. The Broncos have a sturdy roster and have to be capable of hold Trevor Lawrence and Co. in check. My Sports handicapping instincts says they have an awesome threat to win this game through double digits.

What to bet on after Football

Football is without a doubt the greatest betting draw for online sportsbooks just as nearby bookies. At the point when the Super Bowl scoreboard clock demonstrated 0:00 on Sunday, maybe time had terminated on the betting season.

For those in the games wagering industry, the new development in betting alternatives should help make up for the shortcoming. More than 20 states currently permit betting on games either on the web, at club, or both. There is a wide assortment of sports and other significant occasions that dynamic players can go to.

Other Profitable Sports To Bet on after football

The NBA is probably the most high-profile action taking place on a daily basis. With seven or eight games a night, there are plenty of opportunities for wagering. Whether it’s futures or game betting, it can help bridge the gap until baseball season.

Golf has become very popular with several news station having gambling relationships with the sport. In addition, good Sportsbook PPH offer online sportsbook is offering live betting, with coverage on one of Peacock’s streaming channels.
In addition to futures for an outright tournament win, a plethora of prop bets are available.

There is another month left in the college basketball regular season before conference tournaments and March Madness. It’s well-advised to get familiar with the top teams prior to the NCAA Tournament instead of betting blind.

It’s been a challenging season, and many traditional heavyweights are struggling in their efforts to qualify for the postseason.

Although not as popular in the United States, hockey is in full swing. The NHL also provides a lot of wagering opportunities with a similar number of games as the NBA. Betting the NHL puck line may take some time to become familiar with, but not so much for baseball bettors.

Another option is international soccer, which is increasing in popularity. However, any bookie software will have it available. There is never any shortage of action for a sport that never seems to have an offseason. The sheer volume of games and the high profile of its stars make soccer an easy sell.

Best Bookie Pay Per Head of 2019

Another year has come about and its time for my series of the best gambling websites for 2019.  This time around, I am going to start with the Best Bookie Pay Per Head of 2019.  This is because as you all know I have begun my own Sports Betting Pay Per Head operation and this involves me.

Even though I am not living in a mansion because of my sportsbook, I am doing pretty well since I got started.  I would say that 30% of my income now comes from starting a bookie PPH a couple of years ago.

For those looking to start your own gambling operation, this might be an article you may want to look at.  This is because this is my own personal Bookie Pay Per Head reviews from someone who know the gambling industry.

Best Pay Per Head Bookie of 2019

Bookie Pay Per Head ServicePricePerPlayer.com - This one is still on my list for being the best PPH provider int he industry.  I have been using them for about 2 years now and I have never had a complaint about them.

All of my players are happy with their sports betting software interface and  the operation pretty much runs itself because of their software.  I never have to worry about my players having the right line nor do I have to worry about the wrong line being given to my players.

The best part is of course that its only $5 per player and I get everything from live in-game betting to a casino, live casino and a racebook!

9DollarPerhead.com  - This one is a bit of surprise contender that I am adding to the list.  This is because this is a hidden gem in the Pay Per Head industry.  They have been around since 2014 and have quite a reputation for having a top notch PPH platform.

Even though they charge $9 per head, it is well worth it because they are still in the low to medium price range and they service they offer is amazing.

In fact, the features of the PPH management platform are at last 30% more effective than the competition.  I would personally stake them against any other PPH services.

BWager.com - Last on my list is Bwager.com which is considered a pioneer in the gambling industry.  They actually use a combination of DGS and in-house gambling software for their PPH services.

This not only sets them apart but does it in a positive manner because of the simple yet affective software.

Furthermore, I like that they are constantly improving both the player and bookie experience making the $5 per player totally worth it.

Free NBA Betting Picks

Only 7 NBA games to bet on today but it shouldn’t stop anyone from making some cold hard cash with a few well placed bets! I thought I would take a break from the NCAA March Madness predictions hype and the drama that comes with it and focus on the NBA.

I am certainly not the first one to be doing that as I noticed that several iGaming Info Sites are also focusing on current games.

Heck, even the sports betting software platforms are getting into the game!

Enough of that, here are my FREE NBA Betting Picks for Today

Indiana Pacers vs. Washington Wizards

Today we got a couple of Eastern Conference teams that will probably go against each other during the playoff. The Wizards have the home advantage but then again, they are on their second loss in a row after being on a 4 win streak.

The Pacers are currently 12th in the league in terms of scoring while the Wizards rank #11. Indiana has not been very steady away from home this season.

Pick the Washington Wizards at -4.5 New

York Knicks vs. Sacramento Kings

This time around, the Knicks are on the road where they will be facing off the Kings at the Golden 1 Center Arena in Sacramento, CA. The Knicks just lost their third straight game and are 20th in the league in scoring average.

The Kings have been struggling with their offensive end this season and are ranked 29th in the league in scoring. This won’t be much of a game but you could still make some easy money.

Take the Knicks at -2

How to Read NFL Odds

Betting on the NFL is extremely popular for NFL fans and sports bettors as it adds more excitement to each game and can be lucrative as well. Knowing how to properly read NFL odds or lines can however seem like an overwhelming task but this tutorial on how to read NFL odds will help you become a pro at it!

Point spreads (also known as lines, spreads or sides) is the most common type of NFL wager. Every game has a favorite and an underdog of a certain amount of points. This number is determined by an oddsmaker.

A negative number (-) will always represent the favorite, while the positive (+) number shows which team is the underdog. Let’s look at a Point Spread example:

  • Chicago Bears +6.5
  • Denver Broncos -6.5

In the example above, the Broncos are favored by 6.5 points against the Chicago Bears, who are 6.5-point underdogs.

If you were to bet on the spread for the Broncos, they would need to win the game by 7 points or more. For a winning bet on the Dolphins, they would need to win the game outright or lose by 6 points or less.

Point spreads will be listed as whole numbers (-3, +4, etc.) or in half-point increments (e.g. -7.5, +10.5).

Under normal circumstances you will need to add at 10 percent “vig” or “juice” to the amount you want to win on your wager.

This increased risk is the house edge. For example, if you want to win $100 on a spread wager, you would need to wager $110. When the odds are listed as American odds, this is represented by a number after the spread (e.g. -110 ).

Totals or “over/unders” are second only to spread betting in terms of popularity. They are also one of the easiest types of wagers to understand. A linesmaker sets a number for the total points that will be scored in a game and you simply bet if you think the final score will be more (over) or less (under) than that number.

As an example the Over/Under Total for SuperBowl XLVII was 48 total points, which means a bettor could wager whether there would be more or less than 48 points scored by both teams combined.

The final score of this SuperBowl game was 34-31 with both teams adding up to 65 points, so the game went over and Over bettors won and Under bettors lost.

Betting on the moneyline can also be used or in other words the straight up winner. Your Offshore Sportsbook will have a higher amount to risk on the favorite and less to risk on the underdog.

If players are looking for a bigger pay-out on their selections they will look at Parlay Bets. This is where you take multiple bets and combine them into one bet. All your bets have to be correct to cash a winning ticket. This is harder to do and the number of bets increases the payouts for the money you add and for the harder it is the rewards are greater.

Bookie Pay Per Head Service
A teaser bet is like a parlay bet where more than one selection must be made, but the difference is a players gets to add points to its wager.

For example in a 6 point teaser of a 10 point favorite you would subtract 6 points from the 10 points making your wager a 4 point wager. You will probably win more of these than parlays but your return on your money will be quite less.

A Future bet can also be made which is a wager on an event thats is happening sometime in the future. An example is to place at the start of the NFL season on which team will win the next Superbowl.

A Sportsbook Pay per Head company will adjust their lines during the year, depending on strengths and weaknesses of teams.

A recent addition to the player's arsenal is Live Betting. The Internet gives us the chance to wager together in real time. Live wagering is exactly what it says on the box: you can bet on updated point spreads, moneylines and totals as the game progresses during a live NFL broadcast. – that’s called live betting.

Enjoy this NFL Season.

2017 NCAA Football Week 10 Predictions

We are halfway through the college football season and by now, we all have a good idea as to which team can do what. This weekend we got some great college football action with thousands of people ready to place a bet on their favorite team or on the team they believe will win.

So I am going to make it easier for those who are still debating who to put their money on with a few predictions of my own.

Here we go:

LSU vs. Alabama at 8pm ET

Alabama will host LSU in one of the fiercest rivalry in NCAA football. We all can predict that Alabama the #1 seated NCAA football team will win. Not just because they are a stronger team but also because they will have the home field advantage. The big question is whether they can cover the spread.

Betonline.ag has Alabama at -21 thanks to six straight wins against the Tigers who have a 9-4 record so far under the leadership of Nick Saban.

Take LSU at +21

South Carolina vs. Georgia at 3:30PM ET

South Carolina is hot right now with three straight wins an do not seem to be intimidated by the Bulldogs. On the other hand, Georgia destroyed Florida in a rivalry game that has placed them in the No. 2 spot.

The online sportsbooks have Georgia at a -23.5 because they know that South Carolina’s latest victories were not against such a strong team. Some say that these two teams are in a different league and that Georgia will cover the spread.

It’s a tough one but this weekend, I expect to see a lot of underdogs cover the spread so take South Carolina at +24.

Florida vs. Missouri at 12PM ET

So the Gators just fired Jim McElwain but the football season goes on and the big question is whether they can take Missouri while on the road. Several sportsbook pay per head provider are seeing some interesting shift in betting and here is why.

The current spread for this match-up has Florida at -3 with a 61.5 over/under. Some may wonder why the spread is so close and that is because they think that the Gators are still stunned after suffering a defeat by Georgia and also because of the shift in coaching leadership. Plus it also helps that the Tigers have won their last 2 games.

The verdict is to take the Gators at +3.5

2017 NFL Week 1 Prediction – Patriots vs. Chiefs

The first week of the NFL regular season is always a tough one to predict because the NFL Preseason does not give you any significant insight on how a team will perform for the rest of the season.

Some may call this pick a cop out as everyone and their mother knows that the Patriots will win this matchup. The current money line on the game is New England at -420. For those not familiar with Sports Betting it means that you have to bet $420 to win $100.

So here is the skinny on this game:

  • Matchup: Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots
  • Location: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA
  • Time: 8:30PM ET

Odds from BetOnline.ag:

Teams Spread     Money Line Total
451 Kansas City Chiefs +9 -10 +350 Over 48.5 -110
452 New England Patriots: -9 -110 -420 Under 48.2 -110

In this season opening game, the defending Super Bowl Champions Patriots(14-2 SU, 13-3 ATS, 6-10 O-U) are taking on the Kansas City Chiefs(12-4 SU, 9-7 ATS, 6-10 O/U) who are clearly the underdogs.

The Patriots will as always have a very strong offense. Despite Brady being 39 years old, he still has enough teams to perform well on the field. Even without Julian Edelman, it should not stop the Patriots from scoring.

On the other hand most sportsbook software companies agree that despite having to replace Dontari Poe and and needing a replacement for Maclin, the Chiefs are still a solid team that made it to the playoffs for the past two seasons.

Prediction: Take the Chiefs at -9

How to Become a Bookie

"How can I become an online bookie" is one of the most asked questions that I have been getting in the mail recently.  I am not exactly sure how people think that I know the answer to that question as I am really more into handicapping but I do know several people that are bookies and I asked them that question.

So here is the answer to becoming a bookie

Anyone can become a bookie.  As long as you have a head for numbers (and with all of the gambling software available today, that is not really an issue anymore), a bankroll that will cover all of your bets and some clients.

See how easy it is to start taking bets...

Now here is the real question, "How to become a successful bookie"

To become a successful bookie, you will need to know numbers, have a bankroll and a decent website with a good and reliable sports betting software that will allow people to place their bets and have competitive lines that you can change at will.

Having the Right Software and Betting Platform

First, you need to have the right betting platform.  Today, any successful operation will give it's bettors several ways to bet on sports.

If your clients are not able to bet on sports when and where they want, they will find another service.  So make sure that you have a good reliable software to help you out.

Buying a betting or sportsbook software is not cheap and requires a lot of maintenance as no one wants there sports betting website down 10 minutes before a game goes off.  So shop wisely an expect to spend over $100k for the software and at least $100-$200 a month on maintenance.

For the starting bookie, there is an alternative called a Price Per Player service. It's basically a service that gives you your own sports betting website and charges you per active player every week.

I have seen pay per head prices vary from $3 a week to $35 a week depending on the options you want for your players.  The basic options is just a regular sports betting website.  But you can add digital casino, live dealer casino, poker, horse racing, live betting and much more.

Some of the better pay per head companies even offer toll free numbers for your book with a customer service staff.

Having the Right Odds at the Right Moment

When most bookies first start out, it's not just a matter of taking bets but also to make sure that the betting on both sides is more or less equal as you make money not from winning the bets but from the "Vig" or the "Juice" which is the commission you charge for taking the bets. The average vig is 10% but some large sportsbook and betting operation sometimes charge 5%.

This is where being able to change the odds instantly comes in as that is a very important part of being a successful bookie.

If that is not done right and all of the betting is one sided and that side wins, you will be losing money.

More Bettors, More Money or is it More Bettors, Less Money?

Obviously, the more players you have the better the chances at making money.  Just make sure that you have the right players for your book.  If you have a lot of players that bet big, then make sure that you the money to cover their bets.

In addition, if you have a lot of players that are professional, then make sure that you have the right odds so that both sides will remain equal.

That is of course not always the truth and it all depends on how much work and the type of players you have.  I know several sports bookies that have only 50 players and are able to make a very nice living from these players.  Heck I know people that only have 2-3 clients that are able to make a living.

In the end, it is still a number's game so the more layers the better.

Hope this helps and I will try to add more details about becoming a sports bookie in my next post.

How to Bet on NBA Basketball

As we get closer to the NBA Playoffs. I thought I would write a quick tutorial on how to bet on NBA basketball for all of those that are looking for one.

Betting on the NBA or National Basketball Association is a great way to bet on a specific sport for a long time as the basketball season starts in late October and the Finals start in the early month of July. This gives sports bettors almost 8 months of sports betting action giving you many opportunities to increase your bankroll.

For those who are new to basketball betting, this basketball betting tutorial will help read the sports betting odds and show you how to be on the most three most popular types of basketball bets which are: betting on the point spread, betting on the money line and betting on the totals.  The odds examples in this articles are what you will commonly find in the best sports betting software on the market as they are easy to read and us.

Basketball Betting Tutorial

How to Bet on an Basketball Point Spread

The most popular method of betting the NBA involves the point spread, which is a handicap the sportsbooks impose on one team to make both teams equal in terms of betting. With the point spread, the team expected to win will be called the favorite, while the team expected to lose will be called the underdog. The team expected to win gives, or lays, points to the team expected to lose for betting purposes. An example of a NBA game involving the point spread would be:

Boston Celtics +7 -110
Miami Heat -7 -110

In the example the Heat are a seven point favorite. If they win by more than seven points, you win your bet. Less than seven points your bet would be a loser. If Miami wins by exactly by seven points the bet would be a tie and wagers would be refunded.

How to bet on the Basketball Money Line

The Moneyline is a type of wager that provides different odds based on who will win the game. Money line wagers, which is a bet on the winner of the game without the point spread. Here is an example of a money line bet:

Boston Celtics +270
Miami Heat -400

If you wager on Miami you would have to put up $400 to win $100. On the other side would be a wager on Boston where you receive $270 for every $100 wagered.

The Moneyline (ML) odds can vary drastically depending on which team will play. When a strong basketball team plays a much weaker opponent, you will usually see a moneyline like this:

Team Moneyline Odds
Warriors +500
Spurs -750

This means that in order to place a bet on the Warriors, you would have to bet $500 in order to win $100. If you wanted to bet on the Spurs, you would risk $100 to win $750.

How to Bet on Basketball Totals

The second most popular method of wagering on basketball is in betting totals, also known as over/unders.

A total wager is the predicted combined score of the two teams playing. A number will be posted and bettors have the option of wagering more than the predicted total points will be scored (over), or less than the predicted total points will be scored (under).

In the example below, the total points were set at 190.5. The line will have a vigorish along with it , most commonly seen being -110.

Team O/U Final Score
Heat 190.5o -105 100
Pistons 190.5u -115 94

So if you bet $100 on the over and the total final score is 194 then you would win $95

Football Handicapping 101: Football Betting Trends

With the Super Bowl right around the corner, I thought that it was time to write about football betting trends to help you bet on the right football team.

While sports handicapping is an ever-evolving concept, there are some basic fundamental approaches to handicapping football, and we will review the different methods used here. One of the more popular methods to handicapping football games is by using football trends.

Many amateur sports bettors think that football betting trends and football betting systems are one in the same. While they are very similar, there is one major difference. Football betting trends are specific to a team, while football betting systems are not team specific.

An example of a football betting trend would be “The New Orleans Saints are 9-0 ATS against non-conference opponents.” ATS stands for “against the spread”, and refers to a team’s record against the pointspread. Notice this football betting trend is only relevant to the New Orleans Saints.

An example of a football betting system would be “NFL Teams are 41-17 ATS in the regular season after four or more Overs against an opponent off an Under.” Note that this football betting system is not team specific, and instead is relevant to any NFL team in this situation.

Some football handicappers rely heavily on football betting trends, while others do not put much emphasis on them. NFL Handicappers that tend to use football betting trends believe that history for specific teams in specific situations is a good indication of how that team performs in similar situations.

NFL Handicappers that do not put much stock into football betting trends believe that there are more factors involved in a particular outcome or that with roster and coaching changes being made every year, the past records accumulated by a team that isn’t necessarily the same as the current year’s team.

Regardless of how NFL handicappers use football betting trends, they are widely regarded as one of the main handicapping tools used to handicap NFL Football games.
