Become a Bookie

Over the years as a sports bettor, several people have come to me asking to take their action. In the early start of my career, it was because there was no bookies available in the are where they lived. So, my friends would just call me and I would place their bet in one of my favorite sportsbooks in Vegas.

As time went by, it just became a pain in the ass. Especially when you got a dozen people asking every other day to take their action. While I don't mind doing a favor to friends, enough is enough. So I was faced with 2 choices, tell them to stop or just have a way for them to put up the action themselves.

In the end, I found a way to easily become a bookie from home. For those thinking about being a part-time bookie, here is how I did it.

Here is How to Become a Bookie in Just a Few Minutes

To be honest, there is not any great trick to this. I just went online and did a search on how to open a sportsbook and found a few options.

The easiest one was to use a sportsbook pay per head company. At the time, I began mine, you would pay about $25 per active player every week. However, today you can find a good service for about $5 to $8 per active player.

  1. All you got to do is find do a search for pay per head reviews and pick one that fits your needs. The good ones only take a few minutes to setup.

  2. Once you got your pay per head account started, you just need to create a betting account for all of your customers. Should only take a minute per customers as you just need to create their username, password and set their limits.

  3. Decide when you want to settle up every week and you are done!

For those interested, I personally have been using Price Per Player for several years now since they charge me $4 per player. Before them, I have tried a few different places but for my needs, they are the best.
